- To enable the learner to communicate expectations and standards clearly and consistently in order ensure that their staff understand and accept personal responsibility for their performance
- To provide a clear definition and step by step guide to managing a capability process including the distinguishing capability from conduct issues
- To provide an Employment Law overview of performance management and capability issues
- How to use HR processes to improve performance pro-actively and successfully
- To be able to use different methods of measuring performance
- To use feedback skilfully in a quick and economical way in order to reward and recognise good performance and tackle under performance head on
- How to maximise efficiency, performance and staff potential through improved communication.
- Understanding and defining of standards and how to maintain them
MODULE LEARNING OUTCOMES: the learner will be better able to
